  Wedding Catering

Choosing a caterer is very important, you can choose your own or you can sue the caterer at the reception hall if they have one available. When planning your menu you want to keep it simple yet good. The most common menu is a choice of Salmon, Prime Rib and Chicken Marsalis. Remember if you are having children at the wedding, chances are they will not eat any of those choices. Some couples have chicken tenders or nuggets for the children at the wedding.

You also to keep in mind that some people don’t like fancy sauces with chicken, try to keep the chicken as simple as you can or make an option of not having the sauce with the chicken .Some people give their guests a card in the invitation having them choose a meal ahead of time. This is good and bad, the concept is good because then you know what you have to order but someone may change their mind.

So narrow your choice down to two dinners instead of three and try to order the same amount of food, what ever you have left over, you can take home or send it over to a homeless shelter. That the leftovers go to a good cause. You want your guests to have a good time and the number one complaint at wedding is the dinner so keep it simple or have a buffet style of carving board, pasta and seafood. Your food won’t go to waste and it will be cheaper for you.
