  Wedding Invitations

You are ready to begin picking out wedding invitations. There are a couple of different styles you can choose from. There are the single card invitations or the greeting cards style invitation or the fold out invitation. These are a matter of your style, any one of these style of invitation is a reflection on a traditional wedding. Once you have made that choice, you want to choose a writing style. Do you want calligraphy, script of plain print? The calligraphy and script are very classy and may cost a bit more than print.

Invitations including the reception hall directions card are normally sent out 6 to 8 weeks before the wedding. This allows guests time to respond and also lets them clear their calendar for that day. That is plenty of time for guests to send back their RSVP’s. Make sure before you seal your envelopes that you have the invitation, the RSVP card and the reception information inside the envelope.

Also, make sure that you have a phone number of all your guests so if there is a change in plans too close to the wedding then you can call everyone and notify them of the changes. Your invitation design and writing should reflect you and your fiancé’s personality, it is your wedding and you should have everything just the way you want it, have a great wedding day.
